  • 1. Proj3K: Kreatif, Komunikasi, Keyakinan

    Summary

Proj3K is founded upon the concept of 3K namely – Kreatif, Komunikasi, Keyakinan.  (Creative, Communication, Confidence).

Using the info-ed TV programme “DNA” as a platform to start the discussion going, this course aims to sharpen student’s creative thinking skills as well as build their confidence to communicate better in Malay by allowing students to immerse themselves in real issues as highlighted in the programme.

Over 4 sessions, students will be challenged to:

Think out of the box (Kreatif), debate and discuss (Komunikasi) and role play character hot-seating (Keyakinan) through the art of interviewing and a dialogue session with their role models.

What are some of the qualities they can emulate from Singapore’s one-legged Blade Runner Shariff Abdullah? How can they learn to break away from stereotypes and be as successful as the former president of UNIFEM Saleemah Ismail? Using the premise of these role models, students will be guided to brainstorm and make informed choices on what, how and who makes a role model?

At the end of every lesson, students will be tasked to do a different presentation for the classroom audience, based on the video. At the end of week 4, students will complete a reflective journal where they get to express their thoughts in writing, and practice their interview skills when they meet their real-life "hero"!
