Entertain and Educate

Mini Monsters started off in 2008 as the Education Outreach arm of award-winning TV production house Dua M Pte Ltd. The company aims to revive an interest in the Malay language by offering an interesting and fun approach to the teaching of the language. Its motto “Berhibur dan Belajar” (Entertain and Educate) sums up the company’s philosophy in its approach of developing  educational materials, courses and syllabus that are relevant to today’s generation of children.

In just six years, Mini Monsters has grown into Mini Monsters Limited and is currently helmed by its Director of Content Development and co-founder Rilla Melati Bahri. 

Mini Monsters Limited aims to always give the best to all children while instilling a lifelong love for the Malay language and inspire change through creativity and innovation.

You will find legendary characters from the story of Sang Kancil, Hang Nadim and Pak Pandir in a special program in the Studio Theater at the Esplanade this Saturday The production, named Danial dan Buku Ajaib, is the brainchild of Najip Ali and Rilla Melati, which recently received the Lee Kuan Yew Bilingual Grant. Elevating Bilingualism Together

Lee Kuan Yew Bilingual Fund to aid in the development of language.

Miss Rilla Melati Bahri and Ms. Sharon Ismail are known as personalities on television but they are now joining forces to promote Bilingualism in preschool. Both are working together to produce bilingual picture storybooks targeted for preschool children. Yesterday, their project is among 10 projects announced in a press conference at the Ministry of Education (MOE), which received support from the Lee Kuan Yew Bilingual Fund. Ms Rilla Melati Bahri, 38, puts a light Justin Bieber spin to evergreen Malay children's songs. But this is no travesty of heritage.
